All Levels Flow
Open to all levels, a class that focuses on introducing students to a flowing (or vinyasa) practice that connects movement and breath. Beginning with an easy warm up, sun salutations, and a series of poses including balances, twists, and inversions, designed to increase flexibility, balance, and an overall sense of well-being. Options and modifications are offered so the pose can work for you.
Yin Yoga
A meditative, healing practice using passive, long-held floor poses. Yin yoga bypasses the muscles and allows you to nourish and strengthen the deeper tissues. Connective tissues, fascia, joints, ligaments, and bones receive gentle, low load stress. The poses are held between 2-5 minutes and the muscles stay passive in order to pass the stress on to the deeper tissues. Each Yin pose is an opportunity to go inward and find an appropriate balance of effort and ease. It is a wonderful complement to an active practice and a much needed tool for anyone who needs to unwind a tight body, mind, or heart. Yin is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is an excellent pathway to quiet the mind and calm the body. With the use of props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets, restorative postures release tension and encourage surrender into a deeper sense of relaxation and stillness. Restorative yoga classes are perfect for all levels of experience, and stages of flexibility.
Breathwork & Meditation
In this class you will explore the power of your breath to calm your mind enabling you to tap into altered states of consciousness as a vehicle for healing. Breathwork is safe and natural and has demonstrated to have numerous health benefits. Also, this class will offer a variety of techniques to train in the art of focusing our mind. Once the mind is still and quiet, we have the opportunity to see clearly, free from judgement, and to live more fully in the present moment. You can sit in a chair, as a comfortable body is important so that the mind isn’t distracted or a bolster or mat if you prefer sitting on the floor.
WHATEVER YOUR END GOAL MAY BE WE HAVE A CLASS AVAILABLE FOR YOU
